Creative writing XI: creativity (2/2)

Hey pixels!! Last week we talked about writing tips. Today I’m publishing the second part of the list. This second part is about creativity. How to embrace it. How to live in a more creative way.

We talked about creativity at class. How do we have ideas, what do we do to relax ourselves, the creative activities we prefer…. Because creativity is not related to a single activity. If you make some crafts, read, write, draw… your mind will become more creative. Having original ideas will be easier.

This is an abstract of what we said. Next week I’ll write the last post about creative writing. I hope that you’re enjoying this blog subject. Thanks for reading, my happy pixels!!

how to be more creative

Visualize yourself as a creative person.

Don’t spend half of the day on social media or checking your mail.

Enjoy some quiet.

Take a walk.

Find a creative space where you feel comfortable. Create.

Surround yourself with like-minded people. Attend some classes. Make new friends.

Write a journal.

Learn a new art form.

Visit a museum.

Take a photo every day. Or doodle something.

This is the list of ways to embrace creativity that we create. I’m already doing some of them. I’ll try a couple of new ones.

What do you think, my happy pixels? Do you consider yourselves as creative? How do you boost your creativity? Any new idea? Please, let us know in the comments below.

  1. Not letting yourself get distracted by social media and whatnot is sooooo true. (And so hard, too, sometimes!)
I have found myself easily distracted by youtube or online articles on sites like buzzfeed more times than I care to admit. lol
Great advice as always. 🙂 Thanks for sharing! ❤
