Baked Camembert with garlic & rosemary

Hey pixels!! Today I was baking a pizza for lunch, I had the oven on, so I’ve made one of the recipes of my Summer list: baked camembert. Pizza and melted cheese: not healthy, but a yummy lunch!!

I found this recipe and I thought it was perfect. I had all the ingredients at home, so no problem. Just start preheating the oven while making a single and easy step to get ready my camembert. And baking the pizza, of course!!

Maybe I shouldn’t use the oven, because here it’s extremely warm. Too much… But I love baked food. The struggle is real, my happy pixels!! How are temperatures where do you live? I need a holiday in a colder place…

  • 1 wheel of Camembert cheese, in its wooden box
  • 1 garlic clove, peeled and sliced
  • A few tips fresh rosemary
  • Olive oil


Preheat oven to 180ΒΊC.

Remove Camembert from plastic wrap and put it back into its wooden box. Place the cheese (and box) in a baking sheet.

Using a sharp knife, score the top in a crosshatch pattern. Push in the slices of garlic into the cheese and sprinkle the rosemary all over the top. Drizzle with olive oil to taste.

Bake for 20-25′, until golden and fragrant.

Remove from oven and serve immediately with a fresh sliced baguette or crostini.
