Sunshine Blogger Award Bookish Edition

Hey pixels!! A new nomination to start the week. My blogger friend, who writes the awesome blog My bookish life has nominated everyone who writes her blog post about her own award.

This was great, because yesterday was our National Book Day (Sant Jordi), and all the questions of this award are about books. That’s the reason I’ve decided to answer the questions, and because I love reading. 🙂

Questions

If you could be any book character, who would you be?

A powerful but nice female charachter. I don’t know, maybe Hermione Granger or Lisbeth Salander.

E-Books, Audiobooks, or physical books and why?

Physical, always. I love how books smell, and reading an e-book is not the same experience. I love having a book in my hands, I always have one in my bag.

A Book you would recommend to me?

Alice in Wonderland, I loved the film as a child, and now I’m in love with the book. I think has everything a book has to have. I love the story and the main charachter. Oh, maybe her name would fit for the first question, too.

Your favourite book title.

I love lots of books. Choosing one is almost impossible for me. I don’t know, maybe The name of the rose. Or Tokyo blues.

Your favourite SERIES.

I fell in love with Harry Potter. I started reading the first book and I found it so exciting; at the end of the book I was to a huge fan.

A favourite book blogger

Well, I love My Bookish Life blog, really. If I have to mention another blogger, I would say Ann’s blog. I love it, too! 🙂

The worst book character ever

I don’t know if you mean worst because he/she is so bad, or because it’s a bad written charachter. For the first one, someone who is really evil, like Voldemort or even Sauron. For the second one, I don’t know. I didn’t liked so much Emma Bovary. I know the book is well written, but I didn’t enjoyed while reading.

A Book that everyone loved but you didn’t

50 shades of grey. I tried to read the first one, but I could not finish the first chapter. I did not liked how it’s written, the subject… I really don’t understand why it’s so famous.

An author you would die to meet

I think if I meet the author, my love story with his/hers books it wouldn’t be the same after he/she had explained me everything about the story. Maybe I imagine some things different than they were planned by the author. But we’ve had some authors at my reading club and it has been awesome, so I don’t know, really.

Blogger Bookworms you’d like to meet in real life

Any of them. It’s always wonderful to meet nice people with the same love for books than I have.

Favourite author pen name

To name just one: Eric Blair (George Orwell)

My questions:

  1. How fast of a reader are you?
  2. Which book character would you totally want to meet, but fear might kill you?
  3. What books have you cried over/what was the last book that you cried about?
  4. What do you do besides reading?
  5. How would you react if all the books suddenly disappeared from the world?
  6. What book have you been dying to read, but haven’t gotten the chance to?
  7. A book that everyone loved but you didn’t
  8. Your favourite book
  9. Favourite author
  10. Recommend a book, please
  11. A book that you don’t like so much
