Hey pixels!! Last week I saw this amazing tag at my friend’s blog Hannah reads, and I thought: Wow, I want to do this!! So, thank you, Hannah, for your wonderful idea!!
I’m going to make the tag in 3 parts: a, b and c. This is the first part, a, dedicated to books. As you may know, my happy pixels, I love reading. And listening to music, too. This tag is perfect for me!
So, during the next weeks I’m going to answer all the tag’s questions. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I’m enjoying answering. And you can do the tag, too! It’s open to everybody!! I can’t wait to read your answers, my happy and lovely pixels!!
THE RULES
- Answer as many or as few questions that you like. I suggest if you want to attempt them all that you turn it into a few daily/weekly posts, probably organised as I have. Make sure you have fun with it!
- Thank the person who nominated you and leave a link to their post.
- Leave a link to my post so that others can see all of the questions!
- Tag the post with the tagline ‘The Reader’s Playlist Tag’ so that I can see all of your lovely posts!
- Use the logo as above in your post if you want! However, I ask that you don’t modify it, please!
- Tag a few friends to take part in the tag at the bottom of your post!
- Feel free to leave a link in my comments to your own responses. I look forward to reading them!
THE READER’S PLAYLIST (TAG)
PART A: BOOKS
1. Cassette = A classic that you love to read
Pride and prejudice (Jane Austen); I also enjoyed with The Count of Monte Cristo (Alexandre Dumas).
2. Rewind = Most shocking moment in a book
The end of The Name of the Rose (Umberto Eco), when the two main charachters discover who is the murderer. I found the reason why he is murdering so shocking.
3. Vinyl Record = A book that had you in a spin, through sheer confusion!
Once I tried to read a book with very good reviews, but I found it so disgusting that I could not finish reading it. It was La sal de la vida (Françoise Heritier).
4. Repeat = A book/series you read over and over again
Usually I read a book just one time. Sometimes, I read a special one twice, but after a long time. A book I’ve read twice is, for example, Animal Farm (George Orwell).
5. Stop = A book/series that made you stop and think
I love when a book make me think. To name one, The Elegance of the Hedgehog (Muriel Barbery).
6. Broken Record = A book that you have tried and tried to finish but just cannot
Ulisses, from James Joyce. I’m sorry, but I found it so boring… I just couldn’t keep reading… impossible. Maybe one day I’ll try again….
7. Shuffle = Books in a series/companion novels that you DIDN’T read in chronological order
The books from Camilla Läckberg; when I started the first I read, I didn’t know it was a series of books. Now I’ve started reading them from the first one.
8. Sheet Music = Books with endings that didn’t quite seem finished and require a (currently non-existent!) sequel
Honestly, I can’t remember any book of this category now.
9. Play = Currently Reading
La isla de Alice, written by Daniel Sanchez Arevalo
10. CD Case = Favourite Book Blurb
Jo confesso , written by Jaume Cabré. I love this book. Another good one is Gegants de gel , by Joan Benesiu.
11. Artist Bio = Autobiography that you have read or want to read
I don’t read autobiographys. But maybe one day I’ll read about Salvador Dali.
12. Pop Music = A book that you loved that (deservedly) had a big hype around it
Any good book deserves it. I read Someday this pain will be useful to you (Peter Cameron)and I found it great, for example. If someday I write a book, I hope it will be good enough for having a big hype around it. 😉
13. Add To Queue = Your TBR
Tons of books, I would like to have more time for just reading. To name just one: The haunted Bookshop , by Christopher Morley.
Are you going to make this tag, my happy pixels? Do you like reading? Are you reading now something interesting? Please, let me know in the comments below.
