Mini pepper focaccias

Hey pixels!! Do you remember our tomato focaccia? We did it some time ago… Have you tried it at home? Today I’ve made a small version of it, but using peppers instead of tomatos.

What do you think? The dough is exactly the same. Just the topping is different.

Ingredients:

Dough (if you want to make less units, use half of every ingredient):

  • warm water (about a small glass content)
  • 25g yeast
  • 1 egg
  • 500g flour
  • a pinch of salt
  • 5 tablespoons olive oil

Topping:

Directions:

First, make the dough. Do you remember how we did it? Here is a reminder!!

First, in a big bowl, mix well water and yeast. Add the egg, oil and salt.

Add the flour. Keep kneading until you have a consistent dough. Finish kneading in a floured surface.

Transfer the dough to the bowl and cover using a fabric napkin. Let it rest until it has doubled its size, about 30-40′

When the dough is ready, divide it into small portions. Flat each one, giving them a more or less round shape. Spread some roasted peppers on top.

Bake in a preheated oven for about 20-30′, at 180ºC. Start checking at minute 20, to be sure you don’t overcook them.

Ingredientes (si queréis hacer menos unidades, dividid por la mitad la cantidad de cada ingrediente):

  • agua tibia (1 vaso pequeño)
  • 1 huevo
  • 25g de levadura
  • 500g de harina
  • 1 pellizco de sal
  • 5 cucharadas de aceite de oliva
  • pimientos asados

Instrucciones:

En un bol grande, mezclar el agua y la levadura. Añadir el huevo, el aceite y la sal.

Agregar la harina y amasar hasta obtener una masa lisa y compacta. Terminar el amasado en una superficie lisa, ligeramente enharinada.

Devolver la masa al bol, cubrir con un paño y dejar reposar hasta que doble su tamaño, más o menos 30-40′

Dividir la masa en porciones pequeñas. Aplanarlas, dándoles una forma más o menos redondeada. Cubrirlas con los pimientos.

Hornear en un horno precalentado a 180ºC durante 20-30′. Vigila atentamente la cocción para no quemarlas.
