Hey pixels, it’s been one month since my first post!!! Incredible!!! Can you believe it? Neither me. I really enjoyed this time with all of you, my lovely pixels, and I hope this wonderful september it will be only the start of a great friendship. More posts are coming, and they will be great, I promise 😉
But first, let’s celebrate our first anniversary!!! Celebrations are really important, don’t you think pixels? What’s the best way to celebrate the first month of a blog? Cake pops!!! Why cake pops? Well, that’s mostly because I bought a new mold on Monday… and I wanted to use it for the first time, of course… lol
Ingredients (makes about 20):
- 150 g sugar
- 150 g butter (at room temperature)
- 3 eggs (at room temperature)
- 150 g flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 tablet of dark chocolate (to decorate)
- optional: some kind of decoration
Preheat the oven at 175ºC
Mix flour and baking powder. Set aside.
Whisk the sugar and the butter with an electric mixer, until fluffy.
Add the eggs, one at a time. Add the mix of flour and baking powder. Mix well.
Pour the mixture in the mold holes. Bake 17′
Allow to cool.
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or using the microwave. Dip ends of the plastic sticks in the chocolate and stick halfway in the cake pops.
Dip the balls in the chocolate.
To finish, decorate if you want 😉
